President Trump met with his Cabinet at the White House to discuss trade, foreign policy, and other issues.
He addressed the recent deadly flooding in Texas and announced plans to visit the area Friday.
Trump also spoke about new tariff letters sent to several countries and the August 1 deadline for trade deals aimed at correcting imbalances.
The administration highlighted progress on a major agenda passed by Congress last week.
Ahead of the meeting, officials including Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins and Attorney General Pam Bondi held a press conference on new efforts to protect U.S. farms, The Hill has reported.
Meanwhile, Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu visited Washington, meeting with Trump, Speaker Mike Johnson, and senators.
