Federal agents clashed with protesters during an immigration raid at a marijuana farm in Camarillo, Southern California, one of at least two large-scale raids in the region on Thursday.
Footage showed agents detaining people and using crowd-control measures.
Governor Gavin Newsom condemned the raids as “inhumane,” accusing the Trump administration of spreading fear in immigrant communities, ABC News has reported.
Similar enforcement actions have recently escalated across California, including a heavily armed raid in Los Angeles that drew criticism from local officials.
