Former NCT member Taeil, 31, has been sentenced to three years and six months in prison in South Korea for raping an unconscious Chinese tourist along with two accomplices.

The crime, which took place after drinking in Seoul’s Itaewon district, was described as “extremely grave” by the court.

All three men must also complete a sexual violence treatment program, the BBC has reported.

Taeil left NCT in August 2023 when allegations first surfaced.
