California man accused of dismembering his wife, found dead in LA jail

Samuel Bond Haskell Jr., 37, accused of murdering and dismembering his wife and her parents, was found dead by suicide in a Los Angeles jail on July 12.

Haskell, the son of a former Hollywood agent, was set to appear in court for a preliminary hearing just days later.

He faced three counts of murder and a possible life sentence without parole, the USA Today has reported.

Authorities called his death a final act that denied the victims’ families justice and closure.
