Ukraine has launched a new program allowing foreign defense companies to test prototype weapons directly on the battlefield.
Announced by government-backed tech incubator Brave1, the “Test in Ukraine” initiative invites allied nations to send drones, munitions, electronic warfare, and AI systems for real-world testing. In return, companies receive performance reports and suggestions for improvements.
The program also promotes co-production with Ukrainian firms, Euro News has reported.
This move follows recent EU-Ukrainian defense partnerships, including joint funding, industrial cooperation, and deals with countries like Denmark to build defense tech across borders.
