Florida judge rules Epstein grand jury records will remain sealed

A federal judge in Florida denied a Justice Department request to unseal grand jury records from Epstein investigations in 2005 and 2007, citing strict legal limits on disclosing such materials.

The judge also rejected transferring the matter to New York, where similar DOJ requests are under review.

Separately, a New York judge denied Ghislaine Maxwell’s request to review Epstein-related grand jury testimony, stating she failed to show a compelling need, ABC News has reported.

Both decisions highlight the legal hurdles in releasing sealed records tied to the Epstein case.
