A House Oversight subcommittee voted to subpoena Bill and Hillary Clinton, along with several former Justice Department officials, over alleged ties to Jeffrey Epstein’s associate, Ghislaine Maxwell.
The motion, introduced by Rep. Scott Perry (R-Pa.), aims to expand the investigation into Maxwell.
Formal subpoenas have not yet been issued but are expected.
The subcommittee also moved to obtain DOJ communications involving Biden administration officials related to the Epstein case, the New York Post has reported.
Ghislaine Maxwell, currently serving a 20-year sentence, has been subpoenaed to testify before the committee on August 11.
