DOJ says Epstein, Maxwell grand jury transcripts only consist of law enforcement testimony

The Department of Justice revealed that only two witnesses—an FBI agent and an NYPD detective—testified before the grand juries investigating Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.

The DOJ, responding to a court order, said much of the grand jury testimony aligns with public trial accounts and civil litigation.

While initially not notifying victims mentioned in the transcripts, the DOJ has now contacted all but one, ABC News has reported.

It supports unsealing the materials with redactions to protect personal and victim-related information.
