Record 700,000 bikers descend for Sturgis Rally

Over 700,000 bikers are expected to descend on South Dakota for the 85th annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, running August 1–10, with pre-parties starting July 28.

The world’s largest motorcycle rally is set to break attendance records and generate major economic impact, following a slight dip in turnout last year.

Events include concerts by ZZ Top, Gene Simmons, and more, plus stunt shows, races, and rides through Black Hills landmarks, the U.S. Sun has reported.

The city of Sturgis temporarily becomes the fourth largest in the state, drawing bikers worldwide to celebrate freedom and motorcycle culture.
