White Castle has launched its first robotic food delivery service in Chicago, partnering with Coco Robotics and Uber Eats.
The pilot program, based at the Near West Side location on Roosevelt Road, uses zero-emission, AI-powered robots to deliver orders.
Customers are notified when the robot arrives and unlock it via the app.
White Castle hopes the technology will improve speed, reduce congestion, and maintain service quality, NBC News 5 Chicago has reported.
Coco’s robots have operated in Chicago since 2024 and are built for challenging urban conditions.
