SpaceX launches 28 Starlink satellites on Falcon 9 rocket

SpaceX launched 28 Starlink V2 Mini satellites into low Earth orbit on Thursday from Cape Canaveral, using Falcon 9 booster B1085 on its 10th flight.

Liftoff occurred at 8:29 a.m. EDT, and the booster successfully landed on the droneship Just Read the Instructions.

This mission brings SpaceX’s 2025 Starlink launches to 1,762 satellites across 71 Falcon 9 flights, Spaceflight Now has reported.

Meanwhile, the U.S. Space Force is seeking approval to increase Falcon 9 launches at Vandenberg Space Force Base from 50 to 95 and upgrade the site for both Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy launches.
