Trump says lawyers are drafting executive order to end mail-in voting

Donald Trump announced that lawyers are drafting an executive order to end mail-in voting, citing claims of corruption and fraud.

He made the announcement during a White House meeting with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy, days after meeting Vladimir Putin.

Trump also claimed that Jimmy Carter opposed mail-in voting, despite Carter supporting it with safeguards.

He criticized voting machines and claimed the U.S. is the only country using mail-in voting.

Courts found no widespread fraud in 2020, and mail voting is widely used in the U.S., The Guardian has reported.
