The GOP-led House Oversight Committee has withdrawn its request for former FBI Director Robert Mueller to testify, citing his health issues.
Chairman James Comer had subpoenaed Mueller for Sept. 2 as part of the committee’s investigation into the Jeffrey Epstein files.
Mueller, who served as FBI director from 2001 to 2013, has been battling Parkinson’s disease since 2021, according to his family, who requested privacy regarding his condition, ABC News has reported.
