Hundreds of Yemenis gathered in Sanaa on Monday to mourn Houthi Prime Minister Ahmed al-Rahawi and several ministers killed in an Israeli strike last week, the most senior officials lost since Israel and the U.S. began targeting the group.
The funeral, held at Shaab Mosque, featured chants against Israel and the U.S., with coffins draped in Yemeni flags.
The strike followed a Houthi missile attack on Israel, while the group also renewed assaults on Red Sea shipping by targeting an oil tanker, NBC News has reported.
Acting Prime Minister Mohamed Muftah vowed the Houthis would continue fighting despite Israeli attacks.
