NATO scrambles warplanes as Russia launches ‘biggest attack of the war’

While attending a Chinese military parade with Xi Jinping and Kim Jong Un, Vladimir Putin launched one of the deadliest attacks on Ukraine in the conflict, striking Kyiv and multiple locations with missiles and drones, disrupting railways and forcing NATO jets to scramble.

Amid escalating tensions, Putin criticized NATO expansion as the “root cause” of the war and warned that resolving Ukraine’s crisis requires addressing these causes.

The attacks coincided with Donald Trump’s criticism of Putin and rumors about a possible Putin body double following their Alaska summit, the Express has reported.
