President Donald Trump began his state visit to the U.K. Wednesday by meeting King Charles III at Windsor Castle.
Accompanied by First Lady Melania Trump, he attended a ceremonial reception and will join a state banquet with the royal family.
Trump, the first modern-era leader to receive two state visits from a British monarch, is set to meet Prime Minister Keir Starmer Thursday at Chequers, ABC News has reported.
The visit, featuring the largest guard of honor for a U.K. state visit and a joint U.S.-British F-35 flypast, aims to celebrate the U.S.-U.K. “special relationship” and the upcoming 250th anniversary of the United States.
