Bomb squad rush to Turning Point USA’s Phoenix HQ as city prepares to host Charlie Kirk’s funeral

A bomb squad responded Wednesday to a suspicious bag outside Turning Point USA’s Phoenix headquarters, a week after founder Charlie Kirk was fatally shot.

Police evacuated the area as a bomb robot and EOD officer inspected the bag, later confirming no threat.

The incident comes ahead of Kirk’s funeral Sunday at State Farm Stadium, the Daily Mail has reported.

Meanwhile, a man was arrested for vandalizing a memorial at the headquarters, wearing clothes similar to those seen on Kirk’s accused killer, Tyler Robinson, who now faces capital murder charges and a possible death penalty.
