A TikTok video went viral showing an autonomous Serve Robotics food delivery cart briefly blocking a Los Angeles fire truck at a Hollywood intersection.

The robot stopped in the crosswalk despite the truck’s lights and sirens.

Serve Robotics acknowledged the incident, saying standard safety procedures weren’t followed and that they are coordinating with the LAFD, KTLA has reported.

The cart was eventually moved, allowing the fire engine to continue, though any impact on the emergency response is unclear.
