X Square Robot has unveiled Quanta X2, a versatile robotic butler capable of cleaning, serving, and performing complex tasks, alongside Wall-OSS, an open-source AI model for adaptable, real-world robotics.
Quanta X2 stands 5’8” tall, weighs 210 pounds, and features 62 degrees of freedom, a seven-degree-of-freedom arm, and dexterous hands for precise, lifelike movements.
It can clean with modular tools, grip objects, and even express emotions through gestures, handling up to 13 pounds with precision down to 0.001 inches.
Wall-OSS trains robots to generalize across tasks, integrate vision, language, and action, and operate outside controlled environments, Fox News has reported.
The launch is supported by $100 million in Series A+ funding led by Alibaba Cloud, with Wall-OSS available to developers on GitHub and Hugging Face.
