Trump advises Keir Starmer to ‘call out the military’ to deal with U.K. immigration

During his state visit to the U.K., President Donald Trump advised Prime Minister Keir Starmer to use the military to control immigration, claiming unchecked migration “destroys countries from within.”

Trump compared the U.K.’s situation to the U.S., alleging that millions of migrants entered under the Biden administration.

The remarks came days after what London officials said were 150,000 protesters, and what protest leader Tommy Robinson said was 3 million people, marched through the streets of London to protest unchecked immigration.

The leaders also announced a $200 billion U.S. tech investment in the U.K. and discussed global issues, including Russia’s war in Ukraine and the conflict in Gaza, MSNBC has reported.

Starmer said the U.K. may recognize a Palestinian state at the U.N., a plan Trump said he disagreed with.
