A 175lb female black bear went on a rampage through a Dollar General in Vernon, New Jersey, attacking a 90-year-old woman and a dog before being euthanized.

The bear initially entered the store around 2 p.m., left, then returned two hours later, terrorizing a nearby restaurant and chasing employees.

A real estate agent helped guide the bear out of the store before police arrived.

The woman suffered scratches, and the dog was unharmed but taken to a vet, the Daily Mail has reported.

Authorities euthanized the bear and sent it for rabies testing, with results pending.
