Over 3,300 pounds of Kirkland Signature Ahi Tuna Wasabi Poke sold at Costco have been recalled due to potential listeria contamination in the green onions used in the product.
The recall was announced by Western United Fish Co. with FDA oversight after a supplier’s test on Sept. 17 came back positive for Listeria monocytogenes.
No illnesses have been reported, but the bacteria can cause serious infections in young children, the elderly, pregnant people, and those with weakened immune systems.
The affected product was sold in clear clamshell containers with a Sept. 18, 2025 pack date and Sept. 22 sell-by date across 33 states, CNBC has reported.
Consumers are advised to discard the product and return it to Costco for a full refund.
