Man arrested after drive-by shooting at ABC TV station in Sacramento

A 64-year-old man, Anibal Hernandezsantana, was arrested after a drive-by shooting at ABC10, an ABC affiliate in Sacramento, on Friday.

At least three bullets struck the station’s lobby while the building was occupied, but no one was injured.

Hernandezsantana faces multiple felony charges, including shooting into an occupied building and assault with a deadly weapon, and was released on $200,000 bail.

Authorities are investigating the motive, which may or may not be linked to recent protests over Jimmy Kimmel’s show suspension, NPR has reported.

ABC10 and journalism groups condemned the attack and emphasized staff safety.
