Colombian rapper Bayron Sanchez, known as B King, has been found dead in Mexico, authorities confirmed, after disappearing on September 16 along with Colombian DJ Jorge Herrera (Regio Clown) in Mexico City.

B King’s manager initially suspected a kidnapping but no ransom was demanded, prompting a missing persons report.

Herrera’s body, found the following day, has yet to be formally identified. Colombian President Gustavo Petro condemned the killings, blaming Mexico’s anti-drug policies and alleging involvement of “multinational mafias,” CBS News has reported.

The deaths highlight ongoing threats to musicians in Mexico, where cartel violence has claimed multiple artists in recent months, and more than 120,000 people remain missing.
