A 12-foot statue of Donald Trump holding Jeffrey Epstein’s hand, titled “Best Friends Forever”, appeared on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., as part of a protest art installation.
The statue, made of wood, foam, and resin, includes plaques referencing Epstein’s birthday book, which Trump has denied authoring and has sued over.
Created by the Secret Handshake Project, the artwork is intended to express political commentary and will remain on display until Sunday, Axios has reported.
The White House dismissed the statue as unsurprising, emphasizing that Trump had distanced himself from Epstein years earlier.
