Youngkin urges Turning Point crowd to carry on Kirk’s fight for faith and freedom

At a Turning Point USA event at Virginia Tech, Republican Gov. Glenn Youngkin honored the late Charlie Kirk, telling students, “All of you are the next Charlie Kirk.”

Youngkin encouraged attendees to carry forward Kirk’s legacy of engagement, faith, and speaking truth in the face of evil, framing it as a national revival despite Kirk’s assassination at a similar event in Utah.

He highlighted Kirk’s Christian faith and challenged students to actively engage in thoughtful dialogue while standing firm in their beliefs.

Youngkin also praised Kirk’s widow, Erika, who has assumed leadership of Turning Point USA, Fox News has reported.

The event comes amid a heated Virginia gubernatorial race and follows another packed Turning Point USA gathering at the University of Minnesota.
