NBC warns customers it may go dark on YouTube TV

NBCUniversal warned it may pull its networks—including NBC, Telemundo, Bravo, CNBC, MSNBC, and USA Network—from YouTube TV if a new distribution deal isn’t reached by Sept. 30.

NBCU criticized YouTube TV for demanding “preferential treatment” and said customers could lose access to major shows and sports.

YouTube TV responded that NBCU’s rates are too high, promising a $10 credit if content is unavailable.

This marks the third recent public pay-TV dispute involving YouTube TV, which serves over 8 million U.S. subscribers, Axios has reported.

If unresolved, both NBCU and Univision/Telemundo content could simultaneously disappear from the platform.
