At least five people have died and 59 remain missing after the four-story Al Khoziny boarding school in Sidoarjo, Indonesia, collapsed on Sept. 29 during afternoon prayers.
Rescuers have pulled seven teenage boys from the rubble, five alive and two deceased, including 13-year-old Syailendra Haikal.
Many of the trapped students are boys aged 12–17.
Authorities said unauthorized construction work was underway at the site when the collapse occurred.
Search teams, using thermal cameras and machinery, are continuing rescue and recovery efforts, though no further signs of life have been detected, People has reported.
A total of 102 people were evacuated from the building.
