A python caused a surprise at an In-N-Out Burger drive-thru in Monrovia, California, when it was found by an employee on Monday, Sept. 29.
Pasadena Humane assisted in rescuing the snake, which weighed 3.6 pounds and measured an estimated 3 to 4 feet long.
The shelter described the python as “beautiful” and appearing well cared for, though its gender was initially unknown.
Officials believe the snake likely escaped from its home, USA Today has reported.
Pasadena Humane is now helping to locate the python’s owner.
