Texas Sheriff Adam King, arrested in August on sexual harassment and retaliation charges, now faces a third count of aggravated perjury for allegedly lying to a grand jury.
King pleaded not guilty and is allowed to return to work under strict conditions, including limited office hours, no contact with seven witnesses, and use of a private entrance.
Investigations revealed he harassed female employees over 18 months with inappropriate remarks and offers, and allegedly retaliated against whistleblowers, Fox News has reported.
His trial is set for August 3, 2026, with Capt. Ben Arriola serving as acting sheriff during his absence.
