Tens of thousands protested across Europe after Israel intercepted a flotilla of over 40 ships carrying aid to Gaza.

In Spain, organizers said more than 300,000 people marched in Barcelona, while police estimated around 70,000, and demonstrations also took place in Madrid.

Italy saw continued protests in Rome, with organizers claiming 1 million participants following the Colosseum, part of a broader national movement supporting Palestinians after a one-day general strike Friday.

Smaller rallies occurred in Athens and Skopje, with larger demonstrations expected in Greece on Sunday to coincide with a pro-Israeli march, Euro News has reported.

The protests reflect growing European anger over Israel’s military campaign in Gaza and rising support for Palestinians, fueled by diplomatic tensions and recent humanitarian incidents.
