Four officers injured, 13 arrested at pro-Palestinian rally in Boston

A protest in Boston Tuesday night led to four officers being injured and 13 people arrested.

Demonstrators moved from Boston Common to Tremont and Winter Street around 7 p.m., where they allegedly assaulted officers, kicked a police cruiser, blocked traffic, and set off smoke bombs.

Police arrested eight men and five women in connection with the incident.

Two of the injured officers were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, WJAR NBC 10 has reported.

The situation highlighted tensions between law enforcement and protesters during the demonstration.
