A Nebraska woman is suing Kansas City’s haunted house, The Beast, after allegedly breaking both ankles during a stunt called “The Beast Jump.”
Leslie Blake claims she followed staff instructions to jump from a second-story window onto an inflatable air pad, which she says was underinflated, poorly positioned, and lacked proper supervision or warnings.
The lawsuit alleges Full Moon Productions, which operates the attraction, knew or should have known about the risks, citing prior injuries linked to the same jump.
Blake accuses the company of negligence and recklessness, seeking over $75,000 in damages, plus court costs and interest, Fox 4 Kansas City has reported.
Full Moon Productions promotes its attractions as safe, with fire marshals, security, and monitoring technology, and requires visitors to sign waivers before entry.
