The storm caused major flooding in South Carolina and along the New Jersey and New York coasts, where water levels reached moderate to major flood stages.

Air travel was heavily disrupted, with thousands of flight delays and cancellations at major Northeast airports, CNN has reported.

Wind gusts exceeding 50 mph knocked out power to tens of thousands across multiple states, while emergency crews conducted water rescues in the Carolinas amid nearly 10 inches of rain in some areas.
