Ellen Greenberg’s controversial death ruled suicide again, new report ‘deeply flawed’ says lawyer

The Philadelphia Medical Examiner’s Office has reaffirmed that Ellen Greenberg’s 2011 death was a suicide, despite her sustaining 20 stab wounds and a knife found in her chest.

Greenberg, a 27-year-old first-grade teacher, was found dead in her locked apartment after returning home early due to a snowstorm.

Her family has long disputed the ruling, citing evidence they say contradicts suicide, including wound placement, bruises, missing surveillance footage, and a locked door.

Chief Medical Examiner Lindsay Simon concluded that Greenberg, who suffered from anxiety, was capable of inflicting the injuries herself, and found no evidence of a struggle or abuse by her fiancé, Fox News has reported.

The ruling has sparked outrage from Greenberg’s family and attorney, who vow to continue seeking justice through other avenues.
