A third person, 19-year-old Javorick Whiting, has been arrested and charged with attempted murder in connection with an Oct. 4 mass shooting in downtown Montgomery that left two dead and a dozen injured.
Whiting was taken into custody on Oct. 16 and booked into the Montgomery County Detention Facility.
He joins two other suspects: 19-year-old Dantavious McGhee and an unnamed juvenile male, both charged with capital murder and multiple counts of assault.
The shooting involved multiple gunmen firing into a crowded nightlife area, killing a teenager and a woman, USA Today has reported.
Police said the investigation is ongoing and additional arrests are expected, urging anyone with information to come forward.
