A mass shooting at a large party in rural North Carolina left 13 people shot, including two dead, officials said.

The victims, Jessie Locklear Jr., 49, and Nehemiah Locklear, 16, were found dead at the scene, while others aged 17–43 were hospitalized.

The shooting occurred around 1:15 a.m. on Oct. 25 at a property outside Maxton, where over 150 people fled before deputies arrived, USA Today has reported.

No suspects are in custody, and authorities are seeking information from anyone with knowledge of the incident.
