Russia says it downed 193 Ukrainian drones, including 34 targeting Moscow

Russian air defenses shot down 193 Ukrainian drones overnight, including 34 targeting Moscow and 47 over the Bryansk region, where one person was killed and five injured.

In Bryansk, a drone struck a minibus, killing the driver and wounding passengers, while Moscow reported no damage despite the drone attacks.

The strikes temporarily closed Domodedovo and Zhukovsky airports for safety, and drones were also intercepted in 11 other western and southern regions of Russia, Reuters has reported.

Russia’s reports could not be independently verified, and Ukraine has not commented, though Kyiv has said its attacks target infrastructure linked to Russia’s war effort.
