A man carried out three random slashing attacks on strangers in Brooklyn within 24 hours, leaving each victim with cuts on the left side of their face.
The first attack occurred on a Manhattan-bound Q train at Church Ave., followed by two more incidents near Foster and New York Aves. and Newkirk and New York Aves., with all victims taken to Kings County Hospital in stable condition.
Police are searching the area for the suspect, described as wearing a navy blue jacket, black shorts, and white sneakers, amid rising concerns after recent subway violence in New York, the New York Daily News has reported.
