FBI thwarts ‘potential terrorist attack’ in Michigan

The FBI has foiled a potential terrorist attack planned for Halloween weekend in Michigan, FBI Director Kash Patel announced.

Several suspects aged 16 to 20 were arrested or detained after allegedly plotting a violent attack linked to international terrorism.

Authorities intervened after undercover agents tracked online communications referencing “pumpkin day,” believed to mean Halloween, ABC News has reported.

Officials confirmed law enforcement activity in Dearborn and Inkster but said there is no ongoing threat to public safety.
