Eight Anaheim High School running team students were injured Wednesday afternoon when a suspected DUI driver struck them at an intersection.
The students, aged 16 to 17, were waiting at Harbor Boulevard and W. North Street around 3 p.m. when a red Toyota veered off the road and hit them.
Three students were immediately hospitalized, with one reported in critical condition.
The 27-year-old driver was also hospitalized and later arrested on suspicion of DUI, ABC 7 has reported.
