Renewed fighting between Thailand and Cambodia has entered its fourth day, with both sides accusing each other of violating international law and causing civilian casualties.
Cambodia reported attacks on villages, schools, and cultural sites, including temples, resulting in 10 civilian deaths and 60 injuries, while Thailand claimed it was retaliating against Cambodian forces using historical sites for military operations.
The clashes have spread across five provinces and forced over 500,000 civilians to flee the border areas.
Each side blames the other for reigniting the conflict, which follows a ceasefire brokered by Donald Trump and Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim in October, Al-Jazeera has reported.
Trump has expressed optimism about mediating another peace deal, saying he plans to speak with both governments soon.
