A Florida man crashed a stolen BMW and told police he had been “teleported into the vehicle,” even referencing the X-Men and claiming officers saved him from aliens.

Police say Calvin Johnson, 36, stole the unlocked 2018 BMW after finding the keys inside while the owner walked his dog at Ormond Beach’s Centennial Park.

He then drove over 100 mph before crashing in a single-vehicle accident, after which passing motorists pulled him from the wreck.

Johnson was hospitalized under guard and faces charges including grand theft auto and driving with a suspended license, the Smoking Gun has reported.

He has a lengthy criminal record and previously admitted to stealing a $1500 bicycle simply because he “felt like it.”
