Ohio police release video of person of interest in killing of dentist and his wife

Police in Columbus, Ohio, released surveillance footage of a person of interest seen near the home of dentist Spencer Tepe and his wife, Monique, around the time they were fatally shot on Dec. 30, 2025.

Investigators believe the couple, ages 37 and 39, were killed between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m. in their Near East Side home, where no signs of forced entry or weapons were found.

The individual, dressed in a dark hooded top and light-colored pants, was captured walking in a nearby alley, though their face is not visible.

The Tepes’ two young children were found inside the home unharmed after police responded to a welfare check later that morning, CBS News has reported.

Authorities are asking the public to help identify the person in the video as the investigation continues.
