Chicago police are searching a Lincoln Park condo for evidence in a double murder case linked to Michael McKee, who is accused of killing his ex-wife Monique and her husband Spencer Tepe in Columbus, Ohio.

The couple was found shot to death last month, with no signs of forced entry, after Spencer failed to show up for work.

Ohio investigators traveled to Chicago to collect evidence from McKee’s apartment, where police were seen packing items for the investigation.

McKee, who was arrested in Rockford, Illinois, is expected to appear in court Monday, CBS News has reported.

The victims’ two young children, ages 1 and 4, were found unharmed in their home.
