A Manhattan federal jury will hear opening statements in the sex trafficking trial of brothers Tal, Oren, and Alon Alexander, accused of sexually abusing dozens of women over 12 years.
Prosecutors allege the siblings lured women to luxury destinations with flights, hotels, and entertainment before assaulting them, sometimes using drugs.
The brothers, who worked in high-end real estate and private security, have pleaded not guilty, with their lawyers arguing all encounters were consensual.
Defense attorneys claim they have evidence contradicting the alleged victims’ accounts, the AP has reported.
The monthlong trial follows the brothers’ December 2024 arrest in Miami, and they have been held without bail since.
