Savannah Guthrie’s Missing Mother Believed to Be Taken from Home Against Her Will, Police Say

Savannah Guthrie’s 84-year-old mother, Nancy Guthrie, was reportedly taken from her Arizona home against her will on the night of Jan. 31, and her family reported her missing the next day.

Authorities are treating the home as a crime scene, citing concerning aspects that suggest she did not leave voluntarily.

Nancy, who has physical limitations and requires medication, could not walk 50 yards on her own, and police believe she may have been harmed during the incident.

Law enforcement has possession of her cell phone and is investigating with multiple teams, including homicide detectives, while Savannah and her family remain in contact with police, Today.com has reported.

Savannah urged anyone with information to contact the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, emphasizing the family’s focus on her mother’s safe return.
