Bondi explodes at Dems on House Judiciary panel in fiery clash: ‘Washed up, loser lawyer’

Attorney General Pam Bondi clashed with lawmakers during a House Judiciary Committee hearing on the release of millions of files related to Jeffrey Epstein’s prosecution, calling Ranking Member Jamie Raskin a “washed-up, loser lawyer.”

Democrats accused Bondi of harming victims by releasing documents that identified some while protecting Epstein’s powerful associates, and criticized her for ignoring questions about possible indictments of co-conspirators.

Bondi defended the Justice Department, arguing that Democrats only focused on the issue because Donald Trump is president, and pointed to Democrats’ past associations with Epstein.

Most Republican lawmakers highlighted the DOJ’s broader law enforcement successes, while Bondi repeatedly criticized Democrats for allegedly politicizing the files, the New York Post has reported.

The hearing grew heated as exchanges with Raskin and Rep. Jerry Nadler became confrontational, with Bondi refusing to concede ground on questions about the department’s handling of Epstein-related investigations.
