The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced a recall of over 3 million pounds of frozen chicken fried rice sold in the U.S. and Canada.
Ajinomoto Foods North America, Inc. recalled Ajinomoto Yakitori Chicken with Japanese-Style Fried Rice and Trader Joe’s Chicken Fried Rice due to possible glass contamination.
The affected products were produced between September 8 and November 17, 2025, and can be identified by specific best-by dates and the USDA establishment number P-18356.
The recall was prompted by four customer complaints, though no injuries have been reported, All Recipes has reported.
Consumers are advised not to eat the products and to either discard them or return them for a full refund.
