US military kills 3 in latest strike on a suspected drug vessel in the Pacific

The U.S. military killed three alleged narco-terrorists in its latest strike on a suspected drug-smuggling vessel in the Pacific, SOUTHCOM said.

This strike, directed by Gen. Francis L. Donovan, is the fourth announced by U.S. Southern Command this week.

The vessel was reportedly transiting known trafficking routes and engaged in narcotics operations, with no U.S. personnel harmed.

So far, the U.S. has carried out at least 42 strikes on such vessels, killing 147 people across the Caribbean and Eastern Pacific, Fox News has reported.

Earlier this week, three other strikes killed 11 suspected traffickers without any U.S. casualties.
